Benjamin Cheong and Michelle Li Recognised as “Growth Drivers” by China Business Law Journal’s The A-List 2024-25

Two of Rajah & Tann’s leading lawyers have been recognised by China Business Law Journal: The A-List 2022 as elites in China’s legal market.

This year, Mark Cheng, Co-Head of China-Related Investment Dispute Resolution at Rajah & Tann Singapore, joins Linda Qiao, Head of the Shanghai Representative Office to be recognised as two of China’s Top 100 Lawyers (foreign lawyers). Their expertise and experience in advising on complex matters, offering unique insights, and defending clients’ rights and interests are what led them to achieve this recognition.

Congratulations to Benjamin Cheong 张汶权, Deputy Head of Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) at Rajah & Tann Singapore and Michelle Li 李浩明, Head of International Arbitration, Construction & Projects (China) at Rajah & Tann China (Shenzhen), for being recognised as “Growth Drivers” in China Business Law Journal’s The A-List 2024-25.

This is Benjamin’s second consecutive year and Michelle’s first year featured on the list, reflecting their expertise in navigating the Chinese landscape to provide the best solutions for our clients. Notably, among the 100 lawyers practicing in foreign law firms or overseas, they stand out as the only lawyers from a Southeast Asian law firm to receive this recognition.

Growth Drivers are identified as key players in law firms with rich experience and profound legal acumen. These seasoned professionals are at the forefront of the market, driving market-shaping projects in their areas of expertise and creating tangible value for clients while contributing to the sustained growth of their firms.
